- 1894 - First export of Indian Seafood – Sun dried shrimp to Burma (now Myanmar) by our founder Mohammed Kassim Allana.
- 1931 - ABAD Fisheries, the flagship of ABAD Group established.
- 1957 - ABAD starts canning operation.
- 1961 - Freezing division started with 180 minute Plate Freezer.
- 1979 - ABAD introduces faster 90 minute freezer.
- 1985 - India's first Indigenous IQF Freezer.
- 1989- India’s first Frigoscandia IQF Freezer.
- 1990 - India’s first Frigoscandia IQF Spiral Freezer.
- 1993 - Abad Exim Pvt. Ltd., ABAD's joint venture with FRICATAMAR, Spain starts commercial production.
- 1995 - Abad commissions India's first fully panelized air conditioned factory, CAP SEAFOODS.
- 1995 - 3000 MT fully panelized and computer controlled Cold Store set up at Aroor, Alleppey District.
- 1997 - ABAD Exports Pvt. Ltd. the second fully panelized factory commissioned.
- 1998 - CAP SEAFOODS becomes India's first factory to get EU approval under new EU guidelines.
- 1999 - ABAD Munambam, our third fully panelized factory adjacent to Munambam fishing harbour, inaugurated.
- 2000 - India's first Cryogenic Freezer from PRAXAIR installed at ABAD Exim Pvt. Ltd.
- 2002 - Commisioned 2500 tonne cold store at chennai.
- 2003 – Commmisioned in Chennai ABAD Overseas Pvt Ltd, a joint venture with our importers from Austria, New Zealand, Spain & The USA.
- 2004– Third fully panalized cold store with a capacity of 3000 tonnes scheduled for commission in june.
- 2005 - Abad Pal Seafood International ( L.L.C.) started operation in Dubai.
- 2006 – Abad C-Food Canning Co. Pvt. Ltd. ( An Indo-Lebanese venture) starts operations in March, which is the 1st full panelized & automated plant in India.
